Dorchester House provides an extensive range of options for guests at breakfast time. Whereever possible we endeavour to source breakfast produce locally to offer to our guests a unique Cumbrian experience.
To start guests are able choose from a selection of fruit juices, cereals, grapefruit segments, bananas, prunes, natural yoghurt and a freshly homemade fruit salad.
This is followed by our cooked breakfast. These range from a full English breakfast which includes Cumberland sausage, local free range egg cooked to your liking, Danish bacon, hash brown, mushrooms and tomato. Alternatively we offer a full Vegetarian Breakfast or should you wish for a lighter option. Why not try a bowl of Little Salkeld organic porridge either as a starter or as a main. All breakfasts are accompanied by wholemeal or white toast with Fairtrade marmalade, local honey and a selection of Anne's homemade jam. Beverages available include Fairtrade tea and coffee, Fairtrade decaffeinated tea and coffee, Earl Grey tea plus a large range of green tea, fruit, herbal and green teas.

Originally built as a Keswick guesthouse, Dorchester House is a late Victorian property which has been modernised to meet today's needs but retains many original features.
All rooms have thermostatically controlled central heating, remote controlled colour television, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, and access to WiFi.
Dorchester House is a short walk from Keswick town centre with its many shops, public houses, restaurants, and other attractions.
We are also only minutes from the shores of Keswick's Lake Derwentwater and within easy reach of the local fells.

Tariffs range from £32 to £42 per person per night, with children at concessionary rates. All tarrifs quoted in reply to booking enquiries will be based on a room rate.
