The bed and breakfast comprises of eight bedrooms with seven rooms being fully en-suite and one single room with private shower facilities. All en-suites have showers equipped with a power showers which are ideal to relax in after a day walking on the fells or around the shops.
Each room in our bed and breakfast is fitted with a wall mounted flat screen television with Freeview, an alarm clock radio and a hair dryer. To ensure your comfort each room is fitted with thermostatically control central heating radiators. A complimentary hospitality tray includes not only tea and coffee but also Horlicks, drinking chocolate and Bronte biscuits in each room.
The bed and breakfast has a full fire alarm system and has been fully risk assessed to ensure the safety of guests.

Dorchester House was built in Keswick in 1896 when the railway brought the Lake District and Keswick within reasonable travelling distance for holidaying visitors. Today the nearest station today is Penrith.
The bed and breakfast retains some of the original unique features including a beautiful wide staircase, stained glass windows and plaster moulding in the dining room and hallway. The bed and breakfast has been sympathetically modernised to a very high standard in the public areas. All bedrooms are decorated in Laura Ashley wallpaper which is complemented by Laura Ashley curtains.
Originally built as a Keswick guesthouse, Dorchester House is a late Victorian property which has been modernised to meet today's needs but retains many original features.

Tariffs range from £32 to £42 per person per night, with children at concessionary rates. All tarrifs quoted in reply to booking enquiries will be based on a room rate.
